Even if we have all listened about Smart cities, we have not yet seen these projects becoming real in our society.
There is a new project in Toronto -called Quayside- aimed to build from zero a new neighbour all related with new technologies.
The main objective of this project is basing the decisions about urbanity in all the data collected from a vast sensor network which collect data about many parameters, as air quality, noise levels and human activities.
In this project, vehicles will be autonomous and shared and robots will do the housework.
This very ambitious project is defined by its transgressor character and its novelty. Besides, it will ease the access to the software and systems involved in it in order to allow other companies to create services from them.
